Although there’s certainly no shortage of ever-popular Mahjong games for you to enjoy in the Drifted Arcade, Mahjong Connect brings its unique spin on the game.

While most Mahjong games provide modern visuals and appeal, Mahjong Connect instead opts for the traditional Chinese approach of the original game.

With old-school styling, combined with traditional combinations to match, many of the tiles look near-identical, which will undoubtedly get your eyes working in overdrive.

If you’re new to Mahjong, the aim of the game is simple - you need to match identical pairs, but in MahJongCon, both tiles need to be on the outer edge of the board, which is where it becomes challenging.

You’ll often see identical tiles with adjacent tiles all around, but you cannot match these until you first eliminate the non-matching adjacent tiles.

If that’s not challenging enough, there’s also a countdown timer ticking as you play, making it even more intimidating.

As you progress through the increasingly challenging 12 levels that the game has to offer, you can opt for the hint button, which will subtly point you in the right direction in the hope of helping you clear the board before the countdown timer ticks down.
