Looking for the fastest way to make tons of money in Forza Horizon 5? We’ve got you covered. Welcome to our Forza Horizon 5 money glitch guide.

forza horizon 5 money glitch

Introduction

Forza Horizon 5 featured an impressive list of 500+ unique cars at launch. Since then, that number has grown to over 600 vehicles, ranging from the humble Jeep Rubicon to the insane Koenigsegg Jesko.

With that many vehicles up for grabs in-game, you will need a ton of cash to purchase your favorite sports cars and upgrade them to become the ultimate drift cars or drag cars for ripping up the streets of Mexico.

Unfortunately, the cars in Forza Horizon 5 don’t come cheap. While players can build a decent drift car with a brand new Nissan 370Z from the Autoshow for just a few thousand credits, acquiring supercars is another story altogether.

Grinding in Forza Horizon 5 through honest means by doing the in-game races and events won’t get you anywhere near that Jesko anytime soon, which is why many players have searched for other methods to earn a quick buck in Forza Horizon 5.

Purists will scoff at brainlessly completing pre-made events focusing on acquiring Skill Points, Money, and XP in Forza Horizon 5. But let’s be honest here – nobody has time to complete the in-game events and races earnestly these days anymore.

After all, Forza Horizon 5 is a game about driving and acquiring cars. And if you’re not out in the best cars in-game exploring beautiful Mexico, then you’re probably playing the game wrong.

With that said, we have compiled some of the best money-making methods in Forza Horizon 5, so you can spend less time grinding and more time driving the best cars in the game.

Skill Points and Super Wheelspin Era

Back in Forza Horizon 4, an infamous money glitch called the ‘Goliath Glitch’ made rounds on Reddit and YouTube.

superwheelspin

The glitch involved a loophole that gave players millions of credits and influence in-game in a matter of seconds. Specifically, the Goliath Glitch was a PvP race at the Goliath circuit where players raced on a car that gave bonus credits to maximize profits.

The trick was simple – if a player left the race prematurely, the other player would get the following rewards:

  • At least 30 Wheelspins
  • 500,000 XP
  • 3-million CR

Not a bad way to instantly make a ton of money in-game. Huh?

Of course, die-hard Forza Horizon 4 enthusiasts wouldn’t pass up the chance to earn millions of in-game credits and influence instantly in-game, so a ton of players got in on the glitch, causing it to spread online faster than you could type Forza Glitch in the Google Search bar.

News about the glitch spread like wildfire, and eventually caught the attention of Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, which ultimately led to the glitch getting fixed and a couple of accounts getting banned. Whoops!

If you’re looking for a similar Forza Horizon 5 money glitch, you’re out of luck.

Since the Forza Horizon 4 Goliath glitch fiasco, players have been very careful not to engage in any straight-up glitch-type money-making agendas in Forza Horizon 5. After all, Turn 10 and Playground Games have already demonstrated their ability to track down and seize accounts that have amassed glitch-like amounts of money in a short period.

Since then, players have had no choice but to find other ways to make money fast in-game. Eventually, players had to settle with farming Skill Points to get Super Wheelspin and Wheelspins.

As we mentioned previously in our Forza Horizon 4 money glitch Guide, we are not fans of using exploits that give players instant money, XP, or Skill Points in Forza Horizon. We believe there are many ways to farm money in-game that adhere to the game’s core mechanics.

Abusing an in-game mechanic might sound like cheating to many, but it isn’t as bad as a straight-up glitch like the Goliath glitch was back in Forza Horizon 4.

Many Skill Point farming methods you can find on the internet for Forza Horizon 5 will require players to actually play through certain custom events or drift continuously around town to amass Skill Points. So it isn’t an utterly brain-dead money farming method.

ford hoonicorn mustang

Players have to complete these events to get rewards, unlike a glitch that will instantly give players an absurd amount of Wheelspins, XP, and Money. Instead, players must grind through hours upon hours of doing the same event to get a decent amount of Skill Points or Wheelspins.

With that said, if you want to make as much money as possible in a short time in Forza Horizon 5, you’ll have to collect as many Skill Points as possible and unlock as many Super Wheelspins and normal Wheelspins as you can in-game.

We scoured the internet for the best ones and have come up with a list of valuable and reliable money-making methods in Forza Horizon 5, so you can save up a ton of money to purchase that Koenigsegg Jesko you’ve been dreaming of.

Fastest Money Farming Methods in Forza Horizon 5

Farming money in Forza Horizon 5 has become increasingly difficult in recent months, as Turn 10/Playground Games has begun cracking down on suspicious accounts that amass a ridiculous amount of cash in-game quickly.

As we have mentioned above, this trend started back in Forza Horizon 4 when players found ways to cheat the game through glitches and exploits in the name of money-making.

The players arguably had nothing but pure intentions in mind by trying the exploits. (fans only want to drive the best cars in-game, give them a break), Nevertheless, the developers see these bugs or glitches as something that is not an intended part of the game. With that in mind, Playground Games/Turn 10 saw it fit to patch these exploits and ban the players who abused these methods.

People have learned from Forza Horizon 4, so in Forza Horizon 5, players had to become more creative – they had to go back to the money farming drawing board to formulate some more subtle and legal money-making methods for Forza Horizon 5.

When all was said and done, players had no choice but to settle with Super Wheelspins or buy and sell vehicles through the in-game Auction House instead, just like they did back in Forza Horizon 4. If you’re thinking: “These methods sound very tedious.” – they are, but it’s not as bad as you think.

For the money farming methods outlined below, you need to farm Skill Points. The Skill points you acquire will go towards unlocking Super Wheelspin perks from specific vehicles that, by extension, can give you a ton of cash or prized cars that you can keep or sell for even more money.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Horizon Edition Skill Points Farm

This first money farming method for Forza Horizon 5 will require two things – a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Horizon Edition and access to a custom-made event.

lamborghini sesto elemento forza horizon edition

You will need the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Horizon Edition (man, that’s a mouthful) for this method. It is a well-known fact that these FE edition vehicles provide Skill Point bonuses, which can help you farm tons of Skill Points quickly.

This method is simple and only really requires players to drive in a straight line and reach the finish line as quickly as possible – an easy task onboard a speedy Lamborghini.

Start by purchasing the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Horizon Edition from the Auction House and upgrading every Car Mastery Perk that improves Skill Point Multiplier and Skill Point chains.

Next, go to ‘Event Lab’ and select ‘Event Blueprint’ After which, choose the option that lets you punch in a specific code to access a custom-made event.

Type in this code: 139 710 733

An event blueprint by Armageddon79 should pop up – an old Skill Points farming event that many Forza Horizon 5 players have used when farming Skill Points since the game came out.

To make the event even easier to complete, copy the following difficulty settings below:

  • Drivatar Difficulty: Unbeatable
  • Braking: Assisted
  • Steering: Auto-Steering
  • Traction Control: On
  • Stability Control: On
  • Shifting: Automatic

The settings above should make this event as easy as keeping the accelerator button floored. The Auto-Steering option will keep the car straight for you.

You can complete this method even faster if you invest a bit of money in giving the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento more power, which will help the car cross the finish line much quicker than if it were stock.

Refer to this Forza Horizon 5 Money Glitch guide by MitchCactus to get a better idea.

Depending on how quickly you can restart the custom event, you could be looking at up to 1000 Skill Points per hour through this method, which can then go to unlocking Car Mastery Perks for the rest of the techniques we have lined up for you below.

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Wheelspin

If Forza Horizon 5 featured UK streets, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon would probably never see any use in-game.

2012 jeep wrangler rubicon

Fortunately, Forza Horizon 5 is set in beautiful Mexico, which features mountainous dirt roads where the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon can stretch its legs and show its 4×4 capabilities.

However, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon probably still isn’t being used for its intended purpose in Forza Horizon 5, and has since been reduced to a simple cash cow that in-game money makers purchase to get Wheelspins in-game.

Nevertheless, for just 50,000 credits in-game, players can acquire the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and upgrade its Car Mastery Perks to get an easy Wheelspin.

More often than not, the rewards you can get from the Wheelspin will net you a couple of thousand credits more than the cost of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon itself, which makes this an excellent money-making trick for Forza Horizon 5. But it doesn’t stop there.

This method is even sweeter when you consider that completely unlocking all of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon’s Car Mastery Perks will also unlock the Deberti Wrangler Unlimited.

The Deberti Wrangler Unlimited features a WheelSpin and a Super Wheelspin under its Car Mastery Perks which you can claim with Skill Points. To cap things off, the Deberti Wrangler Unlimited also has the ‘Secret Stash’ perk, which gives the player an instant 50,000 credits after unlocking – completely refunding the player of the initial 50,000 credits used to purchase the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Sweet!

Increase Game Difficulty

Another way to optimize your revenue in Forza Horizon 5 is by increasing the game’s difficulty setting. This means setting options such as Drivatar Difficulty to ‘Unbeatable’, turning off Traction/Stability Control, shifting manually, and turning off Rewind, to name a few.

increase game difficulty

Setting some difficulty options to a more realistic setting can net you bonus credits in-game, which can net you more cash when going through the Festival Playlist events.

However, to make driving easier, you will have to set some of these difficulty settings to something different for some of the money-farming methods we have lined up, such as the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Skill Points farming method above.

Don’t worry; you can easily change the difficulty settings through the in-game menu once you’re done farming Skill Points.

If you’ve been driving in Forza Horizon 5 for the longest time with most of these assist options enabled, you’ll need a bit of time to get used to the more sensitive handling characteristics. Things will be difficult for the first few hours, but keep at it, and you’ll be raking in tons of cash in no time.

Oh, and you’ll likely become a better driver in-game due to the more realistic handling characteristics – definite win-win in our books!

Purchase the Nissan Fairlady Z Forza Horizon Edition from the Auction House

Another great way to acquire a Super Wheelspin in Forza Horizon 5 is by purchasing the 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z Forza Edition from the Auction House for 50,000-100,000 credits.

nissan fairlady z forza horizon edition

While that seems like a ton of cash to spend on a single car, you are still getting a Wheelspin in return, which could net you even more money than what you’ve just spent to acquire the Fairlady Z.

However, a word of caution – used cars purchased from the Auction House will feature unclaimable Car Mastery Perks if the previous owner has already used them before selling the car.

Lamborghini Diablo/Diablo GTR Wheel Spin

This next money-farming method involves purchasing the Lamborghini Diablo SV from the Auction House for 174,000 credits, purchasing all of its perks with Skill Points, and unlocking all of its Car Mastery Perk which includes a regular Wheelspin and the Lamborghini Diablo GTR.

lamborghini diablo sv

With the Lamborghini Diablo GTR in your garage, simply buy all of the car’s perks to get an additional Wheelspin. After which, you can opt to sell the Lamborghini Diablo GTR at the Auction House to get some of the money you spent back and more.

lamborghini diablo gtr

The Lamborghini Diablo GTR can be sold for upwards of 1,000,000 credits, which leaves you with a net gain of two regular Wheelspins and up to 800,000 credits. Not a bad way to make quick money in Forza Horizon 5.

Zenvo TSR-S Super Wheelspin

Some cars in Forza Horizon 5 will feature two Wheelspins in their Car Mastery Tree. One such car is the Zenvo TSR-S, which features a normal Wheelspin and a Super Wheelspin in its Car Mastery Tree.

zenvo tsr s

The only challenge with acquiring these Wheelspins is the upright cost of the Zenvo TSR-S. At a whopping 1.2 million credits from the Autoshow, the Zenvo TSR-S is arguably too expensive, even if you’re getting a Super Wheelspin and a normal Wheelspin in return.

If you’re lucky or patient enough, try to buy one from the Auction House for less than its regular retail price. You will get a better deal there since you’re getting a Super Wheelspin and a regular Wheelspin in return anyway.

On top of that, you can easily resell the Zenvo TSR-S at the Auction House after you’ve collected its perks.

Once again, we must warn you that other players might have already taken the Zenvo TSR-S’ Car Mastery Perks before selling the car at the Auction House, so just be careful when purchasing the car from the Auction House.

Drift with the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang

We saved the best for last, and what better way to farm Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5 than with some good ole tire shredding action?

For this method, you will need one of the most recognizable drift cars in Forza Horizon – the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang and a ton of Skill Points to unlock all of its Car Mastery perks.

The process is simple – drive the Hoonicorn Mustang to the nearest drag strip and keep those rear tires (or, in the Hoonicorn’s case, all four tires) spinning for as long as you possibly can.

ford hoonicorn mustang dragstrip

It’s pretty difficult to mess this up, as any drag strip in Forza Horizon 5 is long and wide enough to accommodate a simple left-to-right manji drift. The runoffs are pretty wide and open in these drag strips, so keeping your drift going with the Hoonicorn Mustang at any drag strip should be a cinch.

Don’t get us wrong – the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang is an awesome drift car that easily made our Best Drift Car in Forza Horizon 5 list here at Drifted. But that’s not the only reason we went with the Hoonicorn Mustang for this particular method.

The Ford Hoonicorn Mustang features a host of valuable Car Mastery perks that help improve its ability to farm Skill Points when drifting in Forza Horizon 5. Perks such as the Unlimited Power perk and the Stay on Target perk can improve the Hoonicorn Mustang’s Skill Chain scores and increase its Skill Multiplier cap to 7, respectively.

Since this method relies on the Hoonicorn’s ability to keep drifts going for as long as possible, the Skill Point bonuses from its Car Mastery perks will be valuable assets in farming as many Skill Points as possible in a short time.

ford hoonicorn mustang drift

Needless to say, this method is our favorite out of all the ones we have listed above, as not only does it feature one of our favorite drift monsters in Forza Horizon 5, but it is also by far the most fun method out of all the ones listed in this guide because, well, you can drift in the name of money-making. A big win in our books.

Conclusion

The days of joining a PvP race and having your competitor quit before the race starts to gain money, XP, and influence in Forza Horizon are long gone, as glitches are quickly becoming rare in the Forza Horizon franchise.

But even if you or someone else discovers a Forza Horizon 5 money glitch in-game, we won’t recommend you engage in these activities anymore in-game, as you risk getting your account banned in the process.

Trust us, getting 3-million credits in an instant is not worth hundreds of hours worth of in-game playtime. Not to mention the money you spent to purchase the game and all the DLC content you’ve purchased over the months. (Forza Horizon 5 and its DLCs aren’t cheap, by the way.)

If you ask any die-hard Forza Horizon 5 players how to make money fast in-game and they will tell you just two of the safest ways of making money fast in Forza Horizon 5 – flipping cars at the Auction House or farming Skill Points to get Super Wheelspins.

The former will be a hit or miss as it depends a lot on luck, which can be a bit unreliable if you’re thinking long-term gains, so we opted not to go with that method for this guide. There are just too many variables when playing the Auction House game.

On the other hand, farming Skill Points to amass Super Wheelspins is the more reliable way of consistently getting more cash in your bank account in Forza Horizon 5. The only real challenge when farming Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5 is the repetitive nature of the trade.

You can choose to engage in one or the other, or even both, if you’re dead set on becoming financially free in Mexico. But if we had to pick which method we’d use to farm money fast in Forza Horizon 5, we would wholeheartedly recommend the Skill Points farm by drifting the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang.

Not only can this method give you a decent amount of Skill Points in a short time, but it is also arguably the most fun you can have from any money-making hacks we have listed above. Or at least we think it is!

All you have to do to make a ton of money in Forza Horizon 5 is to put in a little effort in restarting the Skill Points farming events of your choice or keep your drifts going for as long as possible (if you’re going for either the custom event or the Hoonicorn Mustang drift method to farm Skill Points) in Forza Horizon 5. We highly recommend checking out our FH5 drift tune guide to learn how you can produce the ultimate setup.

After which, simply buy any of the cars featured above that have a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin under their Car Mastery Perks, and you’ll be on your way to becoming a Forza Horizon 5 millionaire in no time.

So, there we have it! We hope that through this guide, we have given you a good idea and the necessary knowledge about money glitches and the fastest money-making methods in Forza Horizon 5.
