You’re probably noticing that we can’t get enough of 350z’s here at Drifted recently, but it appears you guys can’t either!

We’ve had several requests for guides, and here’s the latest one as we take a look at the rear diffuser choices on the market.

We can completely understand the 350z popularity, I mean, what’s not to love about them? I think most of us have considered one at some point, especially with their prices becoming increasingly tempting.

They’re cheap enough for a track beater and stylish enough to show up most cars at the meet.

Not only are they reasonable, but there are some real bargains to be had when tuning your 350z, whether a missile is your aim or if you just want a stylish daily without breaking the bank.

Since you’re here already, we’re guessing you either own or are considering purchasing yourself a 350z.

Tuning is extremely addictive, but also insanely satisfying, and there’s nothing more exciting than having car parts arriving in the mail and them fitting them with your buddies at the weekend!

Now that you’re looking for a rear diffuser, you’re definitely going to want to take a look at our front lip guide to set off the styling of your car perfectly.

If you’re looking to do more upgrades, then coilovers definitely have to be on your to-do list to get the most out of your handling.

When you come to fit your rear diffuser, you’re undoubtedly going to need an aftermarket exhaust to go with it, so make sure you check out our exhaust guide.

Since you’re already whipping the exhaust off, we highly recommend considering fitting headers and Y-Pipes at the same time.

After that, top it all off with a cold air intake to complete your basic breathing modification list.

Looking to go one step further with your build? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered too!

Whether you’re looking for a turbo or supercharger kit, or maybe even considering heading to the dark side with an LS swap, we have all the information you’re going to need to find the perfect parts to create the ultimate street weapon!

When it comes to rear diffusers for the 350z, there’s a few tried and tested methods which are extremely popular and will completely transform that slightly dull factory rear end.

Although if you already have a 350z bash bar installed you might want to reach out to the manufacturer to check your chosen diffuser is compatible.

We’re sure that you’re going to find the perfect booty that you’d been hoping for within our guide!

We’ll be taking a look at the cheaper end of the market, and also the premium end, from fiberglass through to carbon fiber.

It’s always worth remembering that carbon fiber is a difficult material to get perfect, and high-quality carbon fiber generally comes at a price.

With fiberglass products, they’re easily tweaked and modified, and they’re often going to need some form of adjustment to get the perfect fitment.

You can either get a professional body shop to do this for you (trust me, they’re used to modifying fiberglass parts!) or take on a DIY job of your own.

We’re used to smashing up fiberglass here at Drifted, and we definitely get a kick out of repairing and modifying them, so it’s definitely worth considering doing yourself, the chances are it’s much easier than you think.

If you’re looking to carry out more mods to your 350z, you’re definitely going to want to check out our other articles!

Let’s take a look at what we have in store for you with our 350z rear diffuser guide!

Circuit Sports 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: Circuit Sports kick off our list with their subtle and stylish Nismo-style rear diffuser. This comes in both unpainted fiberglass or carbon fiber variations, depending on how much you’re looking to spend.

Circuit Sports are well known for delivering great quality for competitive prices. Whether you’re after stunning carbon fiber or wanting your diffuser to match the rest of the car, they have the perfect answer.

This diffuser is a fantastic choice for those of you that are running either a single-exit exhaust as you can purchase the optional extra exhaust block-off cap.

Manufacturer description:Circuit Sports UV Protected Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser for Nissan 350Z Z33. Enhance the rear end of your 350z with this beautiful gloss rear diffuser. Comes standard with dual exhaust cutouts and for single exhaust 350Z’S. Please purchase the block off cap separately.

IKON Motorsports 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: For those of you that liked the Circuit Sports carbon fiber offering above, but feel that it’s a little out of your price range, IKON Motorsports has the ideal solution with another Nismo style diffuser.

Based on the same design, IKON offers this alternative at a much cheaper price. We’ve reviewed several IKON products, and owners have generally been delighted with the quality for the money, so this cheaper option may well be worth a shot.

If you’re not happy with the product for any reason, IKON has a 60-day warranty. Alongside that, Amazon’s customer service is fantastic, so there will certainly be no issues if you’re not happy for any reason.

Kinley Auto Parts TS 350z Rear Diffuser

kinley 350z rear diffuser

Our comment: US-based Kinley stock a wide range of aftermarket parts, including the 350z TS style rear diffuser.

This is one of the common splitters seen on tuned 350z’s, and these are a replica of the original JDM Top Secret parts.

If you want the Top Secret looks, but not the price tag, this is a fantastic choice which will completely transform your Z and make it stand out from the crowd.

Manufacturer description:We manufacture custom motorcycle and automobile parts and accessories in our factory in Florida.

We’ve spent years building our repertoire of parts creating molds based off of the original vehicles. None of our molds are “universal” or “generic”. Our fiberglass production methods produce the highest quality and most durable parts on the market. We also pride ourselves on our impeccable customer service team. Any questions? Just give us a shout and we’ll do our best to help you with whatever we can.

Extreme Dimensions TS-1 350z Rear Diffuser

ts1 350z rear diffuser

Our comment: If you liked the Kinley Auto Parts diffuser above, but you’re on the lookout for a cheaper alternative then Extreme Dimensions has you covered.

This model is again based on the JDM Top Secret design at a fraction of the price.

If saving a little money is your thing, then this could be ideal. However, based on the reviews we’ve had from owners, the fitment isn’t the best. For that reason, we would expect that you’re going to need to either carry out some modifications or get someone else to do so on your behalf.

It may well be worth taking a shot and seeing how it fits since Extreme Dimensions have a Satisfaction Guarantee.

Manufacturer description:Extreme Dimensions has revolutionized the fiberglass market with the Duraflex brand. Duraflex combines fiberglass, plastic, and polyester resin. Duraflex technology obtains a much higher durability rate than the average fiberglass product. Additionally we have reduced shipping damages up to 75%. Duraflex products feature a black top coat and include a high-quality mesh grille. This revolutionary product allows the consumer to buy a premium fiberglass body kit at an affordable price.

All Duraflex parts come raw and unpainted and in a black primer finish. We advise our customers to have their body kits painted and installed at a local auto body shop. All fiberglass parts will require some amount of body work and finishing prior to being ready for paint.

Carbon Creations Carbon Fiber RBS 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: Extreme Dimensions’ premium sister company Carbon Creations bring you the next offering in our lineup, this time with a Rocket Bunny-style carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Based on the original Rocket Bunny styling, this comes at a fraction of the price of the original, whether you’re looking to change the look of your Z, or to replace a broken Rocket Bunny diffuser for cheap, this could be a great choice.

Manufacturer description:Carbon Creations designs and manufactures innovative carbon fiber aerodynamic products specifically for your vehicle. Each product is manufactured with the highest quality standards and inspected by our quality control team before leaving our manufacturing facility.

“These products are manufactured with a Grade “A” carbon fiber material and finished with a premium clear coat with UV protection. Carbon Creations products not only look great, but are used by professional motorsport figures for auto racing, drifting, and drag racing.

“Our products are designed to be as light as possible while retaining durability and ensuring safety. Over the past number of years Carbon Creations products have been widely exposed by the media as being the most prestigious carbon aerodynamic brand in the industry.

Extreme Dimensions RBS 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: If you’re looking for the cheaper alternative for the carbon fiber Rocket Bunny style replacement rear diffuser from Carbon Creations, Extreme Dimensions also has a cheaper, unpainted fiberglass alternative.

As with our previous Extreme Dimensions review, don’t expect the fitment of this product to be too impressive, but given that it’s fiberglass some time and patience will have it looking perfect.

If you’re definitely not happy with the product, you’ll be able to take advantage of the no-hassle returns service or order a replacement.

Cuztom Tuning Shark Fin 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: Here’s a fantastic bargain brought to you by Cuztom Tuning! This Nismo-style splitter is undoubtedly the best price in our guide, but many happy owners have already purchased this and are delighted with it for the money.

If you’re worried about your rear bumper getting hit at the track, but you’d like to add some style to your 350z rear, this is the perfect choice when it comes to quality for the price, with clean and subtle styling to match.

As with most polyurethane parts, some minor modifications may be required to get the perfect fitment, but we generally expect this with any aftermarket body panels.

Cuztom Tuning NS Style Carbon Fiber 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: If you’re tempted by the bargain-priced Cuztom Tuning diffuser above, but feel like you have a little more to spend on the carbon fiber equivalent, then they’ve launched yet another fantastic deal to the market with an impressive price tag.

If a clean and subtle carbon fiber diffuser is what you’re after, you’re certainly not going to do better for the money than this.

JCSportline Carbon Fiber 350z Rear Diffuser

Our comment: China-based JC Sportline typically deal with high-end luxury cars, but have also branched out into the JDM tuning scene.

This comes at a higher price than the Cuztom Tuning equivalent, and also features the common Nismo-style design, but we would expect it to be higher quality given the company’s reputation.

Manufacturer description:JC SPORTLINE is one of the earliest and leading auto parts manufacturers in China. Established in 2002, we have more than 15 years’ experience in overseas business. JC SPORTLINE has become a brand that is recognized worldwide within the automotive enhancement industry.

“At JC SPORTLINE headquarters in Shenzhen city, we have our own warehouse which is over 5,000 square meters this also includes warehousing, logistics, design, mould, domestic and overseas sales, personnel, finance and other departments. Our winner

Our winner is the Circuit Sports rear diffuser.

To pick our winner from this choice of 350z rear diffusers, we looked at a number of criteria; owner feedback, quality, popularity, and design.

Based on these criteria we have chosen the Circuit Sports rear diffuser to be our winner.

Circuit Sports 350z 350z Rear Diffuser

circuit sports 1 350z rear diffuser

Despite there being several of the same ‘Nismo style’ designs on the market, Circuit Sports have earned themselves a great reputation within the 350z community for their great quality and fitment.

The addition of their exhaust ‘blank-off’, this also makes it perfect for those of you running a single exit exhaust, such as the bargain-priced Tomei Expreme titanium exhaust, which won our 350z exhaust guide.

When buying carbon fiber parts, quality is particularly important as a diffuser with poor fitment and poor weave will most likely leave you feeling disappointed, and carbon fiber isn’t an easy material to modify. One of the great things about our list is that we use suppliers that’ll be more than happy to ensure you get the perfect product.

With fiberglass parts, fitment and quality aren’t quite so vital, especially if you’re getting a professional body shop to install it since fiberglass can be modified so easily. We’ve purchased both cheap and expensive fiberglass parts in the past, and they’ve all needed some amount of modification to fit.

We highly recommend looking for the style which you like best and then checking our rating and price to see which is the most ideal for your requirements.
